What is the Hepatitis B Vaccine used for?

The Hepatitis B vaccine protects against Hepatitis B Virus (HBV), a blood-borne infection that can cause chronic liver disease and liver cancer. Symptoms include jaundice, joint pain, abdominal discomfort, fatigue, and nausea.

Who should receive the Hepatitis B Vaccine?
Adults who haven’t been vaccinated or lack immunity should receive 3 doses—at 0, 1, and 6 months—for full protection.

Please note

Please note that the vaccination fee applies to a single dose. This vaccine is administered as a three-dose series, with the second dose and third dose given 1 month and 6 months after the first dose respectively. This add-on vaccination (or a part thereof) is not included in our health screening packages.
To add on the vaccination whilst you are doing an Executive Health Screening, simply add it in as part of your Executive Health Screening appointment.
